SUBJECTS FROM THREE DIFFERENT CATEGORIES MAKE UP OUR ACADEMIC STUDY MATERIAL:
1. Our core curriculum is approved by the Department of Education, and consists of the following subjects:
Afrikaans, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Literature & Creative Writing, and Word Building.
2. Electives include subjects like: Art, Accounting, Animal Science, Bible studies, Home Economics etc.
3. Enrichment subjects include Bible Reading, New Testament Survey, Old Testament Survey, Study in the Life of Christ, Life Orientation.
4. Practical classes include Laboratory work, Life Orientation, Arts and Culture, Economic Management Science, Technology and Physical education.
UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE......
Students who achieve the necessary credits and qualifications are able to enter Universities in South Africa as well as Internationally as School of Tomorrow & Accelerated Christian Educations Ministries SA's curriculum is also accepted outside of South Africa.
FUTHER ACADEMIC IMPORTANCE......
Groblersdal Christian School, as is most other ACE Christian schools world wide, ranges from Grade 0 to 12.
Regular "Field Trips" take place to places of interest i.e. the zoo, museums, game parks, library, police stations, fire department.
Many incentive programs such as "Honor Roll Trips'" for students with high academic achievements, to funplaces and activities.
AMerit System is used to motivate students.
Students learn to set their own goals and to take responsibility for their learning.
